Lincoln Property Company is Hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager Near Dallas, TX

THE POSITION

The Revenue Accounting Manager position is part of the medical office lease administration team.

To qualify, the candidate must have experience in Lease compliance & OPEX/CAM reconciliations. Commercial property accounting exposure preferred. The position requires an individual who can work independently and with a team, meet all deadlines, give great attention to detail, has effective time management skills with ability to reprioritize needs.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review lease documents and associated abstracts
  • Manage two employees & review their work
  • Process new leases, amendments, and terminations and update software attributes into Yardi or MRI **
  • Generate monthly statements and reports
  • Review monthly recurring charges
  • Review security deposits cash receipts and transfers
  • Perform tenant account internal audits of rent roll & billing details, upon request
  • Maintain and update all lease attributes, such as square footage & critical date information
  • Review and process adjustments and vacate forms
  • Review and update tenants annual sales tax rate
  • Prepare and review year end expense recovery reconciliations
  • Review cash applications
  • Create and maintain lease administrative reporting, e.g., rent rolls & related reports
  • Research and respond to Client and internal Team requests
  • Assist property managers with tenant account activity and late fee calculations
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Follow the provided workflow process and procedures to complete all requirements on time and accurately following client corporate governance rules
  • Assist in process improvement solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years lease administration compliance in commercial property industry experience
  • Yardi or MRI, or other lease software a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred
  • The ability to read and interpret lease agreements
  • Effective oral, written and listening communication skills
  • Professional interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Detail oriented and ability to provide accurate work products
  • Ability to meet deadlines, good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel and Word) and Adobe PDF
  • Critical thinking with the ability to apply good judgement to resolve problems
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
