Position Overview: My client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Accounting Manager with expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This critical role will be responsible for navigating complex accounting issues related to M&A activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic guidance on financial reporting matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting due diligence process for potential M&A transactions, assessing financial risks, and identifying key accounting issues.
• Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance on purchase accounting, consolidation, equity method investments, and other related matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and business development to evaluate and structure M&A deals from an accounting perspective.
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos and documentation to support accounting conclusions and treatments.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements in relation to M&A transactions.
• Drive the integration of acquired entities from an accounting and financial reporting standpoint.
• Stay updated on evolving accounting standards and regulatory changes impacting M&A transactions.
