Our clients can count on us when they need dedicated full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), single item shipments, container freight, and more.

Job Description: As a Logistics Business Development Manager with a primary focus on customer sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing accounts. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with the company's growth objectives. Identify market opportunities and trends to capitalize on.
  • New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market segments. Generate leads through various channels such as networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within prospective and existing client organizations. Understand their business needs and challenges to offer tailored logistics solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our company's capabilities and value proposition. Collaborate with internal teams to customize solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms and conditions that maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and agreements.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including pipeline management, sales forecasts, and performance metrics. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales progress and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
