LHH is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Indianapolis, IN

LHH is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably within the manufacturing industry. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.   • 6 month contract
  • $20-$25hr
  • Downtown Indianapolis, IN - 100% Onsite
  • M-F 8a-5p
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Administer benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries related to benefits
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting and performance reviews
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Provide support for HR-related projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in human resources, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
