Lewis-Price & Associates, Inc. is Hiring an Admin Assistant IV Near Rockville, MD

The contractor will have a wide range of responsibilities and shall:
  • Assist Director and Deputy Director in a host of administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and other events, preparing documents, preparing meeting minutes, preparing spreadsheets, preparing presentations, etc.
  • Assist in the establishment of priorities and management of time within constraints.
  • Serve as a point of contact and support for Branch Chiefs on a wide range of administrative tasks.
  • Resolve issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature impacting administrative functions.
  • Arrange domestic, foreign, sponsored, and local travel for staff.
  • Prepare meeting arrangements for DDCM staff and visitors.
  • Review monthly reports to bring discrepancies to the attention of the Branch Chiefs and Administrative Officers.
  • Update necessary spreadsheets and databases when required.
  • Support office communications (telephones, voice mail and email), type memos, correspondence, manuscripts, etc., collect and distribute internal and external mail, and maintain office files.
  • Serve as the Timekeeper for assigned team members.
  • Prepare for onboarding and offboarding of staff members and contractors.
  • Assist in badge processing for staff and contractors; update NED records as required.
  • Keep track of government property and equipment for assigned team; maintain equipment readiness and function.
  • Place orders for supplies and other items as well as keep track of inventory.
Contractor must be knowledgeable in the operation of office equipment (computers, copiers, fax machines, labelers, etc.) to scan, file and/or store both electronic and paper documents for
future reference. In addition, he/she must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with administrative and program officials is required to serve as liaison for the Division.
  • Advanced skills in oral and written communications are necessary to fulfill the duties of this position.
  • Past experience with coordinating and organizing executive level meetings and gatherings.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail minimizes errors and follows instructions precisely.
  • Ability to work in a very busy and high-pressured office and follow through to ensure completion of work.
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of microcomputers is required to perform the work and proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office programs, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • A college degree or a high school diploma and eight (8) years of related work experience
  • Ability to perform more complex administrative tasks
  • Ability to support senior level staff

  • Ability to perform a variety of administrative functions
