The company provides resilient flooring solutions tailored to commercial environments.Their extensive product lineup includes vinyl, rubber, luxury vinyl tiles, cork, VCT, and more, catering to diverse performance requirements and aesthetic preferences.
Duties:
• Work with the assistance of the operations administrator.
• Manage a team consisting of 2 field superintendents, 2 scheduling managers, 2 warehouse managers, and 6 in-house installers
• Develop and maintain a fluid, consistent process for several ongoing projects.
• Develop reporting methods for job completion procedures
• Coordinate with purchasing manager for material lead times and delivery options.
• Run reports from operating system to identify key information for better project planning.
• Develop a consistent process for staff to better account for active and leftover inventory.
• Evaluate current staff and workflow then implement a more cohesive efficient process.
• Run weekly meetings for operations/warehouse/purchasing to help them plan for efficient use of
installation crews based on clients’ goals and material lead times.
• Manage the day-to-day working environment to coach the team and reinforce their roles and
responsibilities, making them more confident, prepared and autonomous.
• Meet bi-weekly with 4 project managers to update on the operations team’s challenges and progress
and suggest new ways for critical information to pass to and from operations and project managers
more efficiently.
• Track days off for direct reports and provide information to HR.
• Develop and implement quarterly reviews for direct reports.
• Fill in for absent employees (if applicable).
• Develop relationships with premium clients and handle conversations when current staff members are unable to negotiate viable outcomes.

• Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn both our operating system (Job Runner) and our estimating
software (Measure).
• Proficiency in organizational behavior and business processes is more important than direct knowledge of the flooring industry.
