Senior HR Generalist - Empowering Our People and Building a Positive Culture

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Senior HR Generalist at our unionized manufacturing facility, you'll play a significant role in driving our people strategy and fostering a positive workplace culture. Your responsibilities include:

• Guiding leaders and employees on Company values, policies, and HR programs with consistency and timeliness.
• Maintaining positive local labor relations to strengthen the workforce's connection with the organization.
• Leading efforts to enhance employee engagement and retention, promoting a happy and motivated team.
• Resolving employee conflicts through effective investigations, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
• Providing guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations for a supportive workplace.
• Implementing and monitoring compliance with labor laws and the union contract for fairness and legality.
• Supporting career development and succession planning to nurture talent within the organization.
• Driving diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering a respectful and collaborative culture.
• Partnering with plant management to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Developing strategies to sustain and improve our workplace culture.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-7 years of HR experience
• Knowledge of HR techniques, applications and programs
• Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Must have strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
• Ability to utilize and recognize ways to improve workflow efficiency and implement change
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish preferred) for effective communication
• Ability to influence others and make tough decisions with professionalism
• Strong problem-solving skills and data analytics expertise.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $75,000 - $95,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
