Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front office department
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
- Manage guest relations and handle any guest inquiries or complaints
- Train and supervise front desk staff to provide excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Assist with night audit duties as needed
Skills:
- Strong hospitality background with experience in hotel management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially if fluent in languages commonly spoken by guests
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling phone systems
- Strong guest service skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
- Knowledge of hospitality management software and reservation systems
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable for effective communication with a diverse range of guests
