HR Generalist I

Schedule:

Full Time: 8:00am -5:00pm, Monday – Friday 

Position Summary: 

The Human Resource Generalist participates on a team that oversees the human resources responsibilities and activities for over 800 domestic employees. 

Position Responsibilities: 

• Facilitate on-boarding for all new hires, schedule physical and drug screens, process paperwork for new hires and terminations 
• Manage Michigan Department of Unemployment 
• Complete EEOC and Veteran reporting
• Assist with Benefits Administration
• Coordinate Corporate Initiatives and Events
• Manage Service Awards annually 

Position Requirements: 

• Minimum 3 years HR experience preferred 
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite 
• Exceptional accuracy, follow through, and organization
• The ability to plan, coordinate and host various HR events
• Strong customer service/employee relations abilities
• Strict regard to confidential information
• Experience with ADP Workforcenow a plus

Education/Certifications: 

•  Associate Degree in a business field a plus
• SHRM credentials a plus
