The assistant manager supports the restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations andensuring excellent customer service. They assist in managing staff, monitoring inventory, andmaintaining quality standards to uphold the restaurant's reputation and profitability.
-Assist the manager in supervising daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
-Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, including training, scheduling, andperformance evaluations.
-Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of service.-Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels and preventshortages.
-Assist in managing food and labor costs to meet budgetary goals.
-Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, including dining areas,restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
-Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
-Assist with marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
-Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, record-keeping, and reporting.
-Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the restaurant industry.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills.
