Leah and Louise, a well-loved establishment known for its dynamic and creative approach to cuisine, is seeking a Line Cook to join our team.
This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of our culinary journey, starting with us and transitioning to our exciting new venture, 3rd & Fernwood.
We're looking for a cook who brings a positive attitude and a meticulous eye for detail to every dish they prepare.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist with daily kitchen operations, including prep work, cooking, and plating, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.
Participate in stocking and maintaining kitchen inventory, ensuring all materials and ingredients are readily available and fresh.
Uphold cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and efficiency during service, maintaining composure under pressure.
Demonstrate a commitment to learning and professional growth, taking advantage of opportunities to expand culinary skills.
Qualifications :
Prior experience in a kitchen environment preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are paramount.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality culinary experiences.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a readiness to support where needed.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
