Position Summary*
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) for New Sales at LCPtracker, Inc. is tasked with driving inside sales activities within specific vertical markets. Reporting to the SDR Manager, this role focuses on generating qualified leads for the scheduling of software demonstrations with our Account Executives. SDRs engage with potential clients, probing into their needs and decision-making processes to ascertain their suitability. Building rapport within their assigned vertical is crucial for nurturing both new and recurring business opportunities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities*

  • Plays a crucial role in the sales process by identifying and qualifying leads, and then setting appointments or demos for the Account Executive (AE) to follow up on.
  • Proactively prospect specific buyer personas via calls, emails, or social media to generate interest.
  • Respond to inbound leads from various sources like demo requests, content downloads, referrals, and other lead sources.
  • Develop and nurture new client relationships.
  • Assist Account Executives in selling prevailing wage/labor and workforce compliance software solution.
  • Focus on selling to one assigned vertical market promoting LCPtracker products.
  • Aid Account Executives with SDR activities.
  • Manage inbound and outbound lead generation through CRM systems.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects to meet quota quarterly/annual requirements.
  • Engage in a consistent volume of daily cold calls within designated vertical. Exhibit persistence in initiating contact through lead mining and cold calling.
  • Support Account Executives in proposal development. Navigate the organizational hierarchy to identify the key decision-makers associated with the project, ensuring effective outcomes.
  • Meticulously utilizes CRM system and productivity tools effectively.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop and refine lead generation strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications is essential for success in this role.
  • Participate in some local, regional, or national trade shows and educational conferences.

Education and Experience*

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of SaaS (Software as a Service) sales experience.
  • Proven success with lead qualifying and appointment setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Work Environment*
This position operates in a professional office environment and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Additionally, this role may experience an active and bustling call environment. Requiring the ability to maintain focus and professionalism during such situations. Expectation of business casual attire while working in the office setting.

Physical Requirements*
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms.
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work*
This is a full-time non-exempt position. Days/hours worked are generally Monday – Friday 8am -5pm, dependent on the workload at the time. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel*
There is a slight/moderate travel requirement for this position. Travel includes client visits, sales roadshows, visit remote office(s), attend conferences/industry events, etc. Attendance at our corporate Staff Retreat is required. This event is a 2-3-day retreat. Attendance at our annual User Conference as assigned.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
