Our premier criminal defense, immigration, and family law firm is looking to immediately add an Immigration Paralegal to our team of legal professionals. We are a top-rated and rapidly expanding law firm interested in a candidate who is dedicated, reliable, and looking to grow within the practice. Our main office is located near City Hall in downtown Manhattan, NYC, and we have a satellite office in Brooklyn, NY. Our law firm operates as a team, with each member bringing their individual strengths and experiences to provide our clients with top-quality representation, no matter what they face. Customer service is of the utmost importance and we believe that the personal attention we give to each of our client's cases helps to ensure solutions tailored to their unique needs. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to excel in an energetic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality support to our legal staff through case preparation, file organization and maintaining an accurate database of past and current motions, as well as assisting other team members as necessary
- Preparing legal documents including affidavits, briefs, and motions
- Communicating with clients, completing USCIS applications including Asylum, Work Authorization, Adjustment of Status, Cancellation of Removal, and providing clients with case status updates
- Assisting the immigration department with deportation defense matters
- Showcasing excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Working independently, prioritizing, and multitasking as necessary
- Deescalating stressful situations and providing an excellent client
- Familiarizing yourself with various apps and software to better serve our clients

What We Require:
- 3 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal
- Up-to-date resume complete with relevant experience
- Cover letter highlighting your skillset

- Bilingual preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the USA
