Duties:
- preparations of I-589, I-360 and SIJ cases
-preparation of immigration forms, court documents and case submission
- Preparation of RFE Responses and case submission
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies
- Schedule appointments and meetings for attorneys
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant
- Proficient in proofreading and editing legal documents for accuracy and clarity
- Familiarity with document management systems such as iManage or similar software
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with legal case management software (e.g., Lexis-Nexis) is a plus
