Responsibilities: - Organize and maintain medical records in accordance with established procedures - Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information - Retrieve and deliver medical records as requested by healthcare professionals - File and scan documents into electronic health record systems - Assist with data entry and order entry tasks - Transcribe medical reports and correspondence - Perform basic clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients Skills: - Proficient in basic math calculations for record keeping purposes - Familiarity with pivot tables to analyze and summarize data - Excellent typing skills to accurately transcribe medical reports and correspondence - Strong clerical skills, including filing, organizing, and maintaining records - Knowledge of office procedures and equipment, such as fax machines and copiers - Ability to accurately enter data into computer systems - Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality As a Medical Records Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and organization of patient information. Your attention to detail, clerical skills, and knowledge of office procedures will contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.
