Litigation Paralegal
Martinian Lawyers is a consumer focused law firm of 40 attorneys and professionals located in Hollywood, CA. As a firm, we value a strong foundation of mindfulness and good citizenship. We take pride in providing a committed legal representation to individuals who otherwise might not be able to afford it.
We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish) experience litigation paralegal. This position will directly work with one of the trial attorneys at the firm. The work will be focused on personal injury cases which are geared toward trials.
Daily Tasks:
- Propound and respond to discovery.
- Calculate, calendar and track deadlines and communicate statute/issues to attorneys
- Prepare deposition notices, organize and prepare deposition materials, exhibits and summaries.
- Maintain and organize case files – Martinian Lawyers is a fully paperless firm.
- Prepare documents for filing.
- Correspondence and regular communication with clients, witnesses and experts.
- Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits.
- Experience with CalendarRules and CasePeer is a plus.
Your Skills:
- Candidate is required to be proficient in Spanish.
- Minimum 2 years of litigation experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to act independently and with minimal supervision.
