Latitude is Hiring a Remote Legal Accounts Payable Specialist (Remote)
This position is remote / work from home, but candidates must be local to Los Angeles, CA, for occasional on site meetings.
Salary: $65,000 - 70,000/year
Job Duties:
- Manage and enter AP transactions into Chrome River / Aderant.
- Track and record trade show service invoices from vendors for specific jobs to generate billing reports to clients after job completion.
- Track and record job production expenses for material and labor and apply them to specific jobs. Create weekly reporting of cost vs actual project costs.
- Track and record travel expenses.
- Generate vendor payment notifications.
- Track and record all vendor charges into NetSuite and accurately assign them to appropriate job.
- Review all vendor invoices and charges.
- Track the cost of internal production inefficiencies that generate losses for the company regarding labor and materials.
- Record and reconcile credit card charges and assign to specific jobs.
- Record and reconcile the Home Depot account and assign to specific jobs.
- Record and reconcile automatic vendor payments.
- Record and reconcile all shipping charges and apply them accurately to specific jobs.
- Record labor hours and apply them to specific jobs.
- Generate the final expense report per project and compare the budget and the actual cost.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, Bachelor’s degree highly desired
- 1 years of AP experience
- Experience in a law firm or legal setting
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Data entry skills along with number calculation proficiency
- Customer Service oriented
- High attention to detail
