Languex, a dynamic translation services provider, seeks an experienced business development, State and federal Government Contracting Specialist to join our team in Reston, Virginia. This role is pivotal in expanding our outreach and acquiring lucrative government contracts at both federal and state levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, devlop proposal and bid on relevant federal and state translation contracts.
• Complete GSA registration and strategic proposals for GSA (General Services Administration) bidding processes.
• Cultivate relationships with prime contractors to secure subcontracting opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive business development activities to expand our market reach.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of business development strategies with company goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in state and federal contracting bidding and proposal writing.
• Knowledgeable in GSA bidding processes and other government contracting procedures.
• Strong background in business development, preferably in acquiring subcontracts from prime contractors.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Base salary plus lucrative profit sharing opportunities on secured opportunities - details to be discussed in the interview

Note: This is a full-time 1099 position. You will be responsible for filing your taxes.
