JOB SUMMARY
At Lafayette, we're seeking Servers to elevate our guests' dining experience. As a Server, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service, ensuring guests feel welcome and satisfied. Your responsibilities include guiding guests through our chef-driven menu, maintaining a clean work area, and upholding our service standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome and attend to guests with professionalism.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs throughout their visit.
- Provide knowledgeable and prompt service, guiding guests through menu selections.
- Stay informed about menu changes, describing dishes with enthusiasm.
- Ensure cleanliness and adherence to uniform standards.
- Complete opening and closing duties, restocking, and cleaning.
- Check station/tables for cleanliness before opening.
- Handle payments and inform guests about service charges.
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Stay aware of industry trends and uphold an "Above and Beyond" attitude.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous high-volume serving experience in luxury settings.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for the entire shift.
