Position: Host

Join Lafayette as a Host and be at the forefront of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their dining experience, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable visit to Lafayette.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and positive demeanor.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in managing waitlists during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of the waiting area and dining space.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the service team to coordinate seating arrangements and accommodate guest preferences.
• Provide guests with accurate information about Lafayette's offerings, specials, and promotions.
• Uphold Lafayette's commitment to exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Host or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Warm and welcoming personality with a customer-centric mindset.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
