JOB SUMMARY (RESUMEN DEL TRABAJO):

To supervise the cleanliness and appearance of guest accommodations and public space and see that all personnel performing housekeeping operations carry out their assignments in accordance with established standards. Responsible for all housekeeping problems, supplies, linen, equipment, work orders to Maintenance Staff and other duties as assigned or required. Works to ensure that departmental staff is well trained and provided with the tools necessary to provide maximum guest satisfaction.

1. Recruit, interview, hire, train, and schedule department personnel.

12. Take inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure adequate supplies. See that store rooms are cleaned and stocked with linen supplies daily. Keep a close eye on inventory to insure it is used only for hotel purposes.
