- Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
- Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
- Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
- Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant surfaces
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Carpentry, painting and plastering
- Establish and maintains open, collaborative relationships with team members
- Provide technical assistance to other departments
- Assists in inspecting and evaluating the physical condition of all facilities in order to determine the type of work required
- Conduct restaurant inspections and identify repair needs
- Oversee small projects, manage and report on the work progress
- Monitors timeliness and quality of completion of repair work orders
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, boiler/hot water heater, refrigeration and kitchen equipment
- Repair “quick fixes”
- Install and replace basic electrical fixtures. Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures
- Perform minor plumbing functions
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures as needed
- Maintain the restaurant exterior and “curb appeal”
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standardS
- Perform other duties as requested by management

- G93 - supervision of side walk heaters
- S12 - citywide sprinkler system
- S13 - citywide standpipe systems
