Are you detail-oriented, organized, and adept at handling financial transactions? We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Philadelphia. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions related to accounts receivable.
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Salary: $22-$25 per hour
Responsibilities:
- AR Management: Handle accounts receivable functions, including generating customer invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Cash Posting: Post and reconcile daily cash transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Balancing and Reconciliation: Conduct daily reconciliation of accounts receivable to ensure all financial records are in balance.
- Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on accounts receivable status and any outstanding issues to management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Prior experience in accounts receivable, cash posting, and reconciliation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
