About Travel Retail

Travel Retail Americas oversees all Travel Retail operations across the Americas (over 900 points of sale) including airports, cruise ships, airlines, downtown duty-free stores, and border stores.


What You Will Learn:


Drive brands’ Marketing and Commercial strategy under guidance of the Marketing/ Commercial Director to increase share of market in competitive landscape with a consumer centric approach while also increasing brand’s Profit.

  • Drive brand growth by developing innovative strategies and go-to-market plans for both new launches and core businesses with executional excellence.
  • Own and uncover deep consumer insights and data-driven marketing.
  • Perform business & competitive analysis, marketing budget/financial control, and preparing presentations for internal and external stake holders.
  • Upskill in commercial strategy and ability to influence full organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Define the strategic 3-year marketing plan for the brand, while successfully monitoring the portfolio (forecasting, building the strategy and monitoring the implementation of new product launches, renovations and animating core catalogue).
  • Product Launches: Forecast and implement new launches and marketing mix strategies to build engaging 360 consumer brand experiences. Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Work hand-in-hand with Retail & Digital team to build strong go-to-market strategies.
  • Budget & Forecast: Collaborate with the supply chain team and finance to align baseline catalog finished goods (FG) and tester forecasts with marketing strategies and client demands, ensuring optimized inventory levels and retail excellence.
  • Internal & External Presentations: Prepare annual marketing presentations that outline the brand's strategy and novelties. Deliver engaging and informative presentations to TOP clients, fostering a deeper understanding of the brand's direction and offerings.
  • Consumer and Market Insights: Collect and analyze insights for the category and share findings with the zone to ensure the consistency of new product developments with the country’s needs while also monitoring competitive landscape.
  • Monitor the retail strategy: Working hand-in-hand with the retail and education team to monitor the proper implementation of retail materials (POSM, services, etc.)
  • Pricing: Conduct semi-annual pricing analysis, assessing internal and competition prices in TRAM and LMs, profitability and recommended pricing structure to suggest new prices ensuring MS% growth while contributing to valorization
  • Commercial Strategy: Close collaboration with the Commercial Director on commercial strategy and achieving monthly turnover goals (while activating improved forecasting among cross-functional teams). Learn to adapt and animate an efficient multifunctional organization to mirror the retailer’s / customer’s.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant field required
  • 3-5 years operational marketing experience
  • 2 years Experience in sales/commercial
  • Experience in successfully launching and managing a new product or renovation through its entire life cycle
  • Proactive, ability to self-manage projects, ability to overcome obstacles independently.
  • Presentation skills: ability to influence internal and external stakeholders through persuasive presentations
  • Leadership skills: ability to demonstrate leadership within brand team and cross-functional partners.
  • Knowledge of beauty industry, TR Americas is a plus
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient with Office package and Analytics (PPT, Excel, etc.)
