Starpil Wax Co is Hiring a Socials and Community Manager for a Beauty/Wax Brand Near Miami, FL

Position Summary

The Social Media Manager for Starpil Wax is responsible for managing our company image while staying aligned with our Mission, Vision, and Core Values in order to achieve marketing goals. They will be responsible for bringing social media initiatives to life through project management, content creation, photography, graphic design, excellent copywriting, social monitoring, and reporting on the effectiveness of the strategy.

The Social Media Manager will stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends and have excellent communication skills in order to express our company’s views and objectives creatively. They must be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

We have active communities on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Youtube, and work with a large group of influencers who actively promote the Starpil brand. People who are active on social media, closely follow content trends, and are comfortable in front of the camera are encouraged to apply!

Job Type: Full-time, Miami-based as this is a role that requires both remote and on-site work flexibility for content creation purposes. (We have our own studio for shooting!)

Pay: $50 k per year based on experience ($24 /hour)

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Performs research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

  • Supports our Starpil Pro community, organizing and coordinating for UGC, processing payments, and sending out orders based on their contracts.

  • Designs and implements social media strategies to align with business goals

  • Sets specific objectives and reports on ROI

  • Generates, edits, schedules, publishes, and shares unique and engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)

  • Monitors SEO and web traffic metrics

  • Collaborates with other teams, like community management, marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency

  • Communicates with followers, responds to queries in a timely manner, and monitors customer reviews

  • Oversees social media accounts’ design (e.g. Instagram/Facebook/Tictokfeed, profile covers, profile pictures, layouts, etc.)

  • Suggests and implements new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions

  • Assists in the facilitation of specific marketing campaigns

  • Stays up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

CAPABILITIES AND KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Content creation, comfortable being the face of the operation

  • Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube, and other social media platforms

  • An understanding of digital marketing and advertising

  • Excellent copywriting skills

  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)

  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics

  • Knowledge of online marketing channels

  • Comfortable with content creation and graphic design

  • Strong customer service mindset and an excellent ability to de-escalate challenging direct messages and customer concerns

  • Analytical and multitasking skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a relevant field OR Proven work experience as a Social media manager

  • Hands-on experience in content management

  • Experience in the beauty/skincare industry is a PLUS!

  • Feeling comfortable in front of the camera is ESSENTIAL!
