Barry's is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Brand Partnership Manager to support the Partnership Sales team by prospecting, generating qualified leads, developing new partnerships, and driving sales across the company. The Brand Partnership Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth and revenue for Barry's, but also nurturing partnerships that drive our brand's growth and client experience. This multifaceted role requires a proven track record in supporting sales and partnership development. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sales and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Partnership Sales

  • Develop and implement outreach strategy to Brand partners in an effort to maximize revenue
  • Drive Brand partnership deals with a goal of exceeding sales quota
  • Maintain and deliver detailed sales and status reports to Senior Director, Brand Partnerships as requested
  • The Manager of Brand Partnerships will have commercial goals that must be achieved by developing new business prospects that convert to sales

Partnership Management

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and engage potential prospecting targets for Barry's, year-round events, and content development
  • Continually build a strong sales pipeline of well qualified partner revenue opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Director of Brand Partnerships and cross functionally to research and identify areas of opportunity for revenue growth based on insights from the market
  • Support the creation of partner proposals and other materials needed for the selling process (i.e. presentations, one-sheets, lists of opportunities, etc.)
  • Maintain and support relationships with prospective and existing brand partners, acting as a dedicated liaison to ensure the fulfillment of partnership commitments and the delivery of value to both parties
    • Cultivate strong relationships with new partners to ensure satisfaction and retention

Activation and Execution

  • Assist in the development, execution, and tracking of partnership initiatives and marketing events. This includes collaborating with internal teams to implement customized sponsorship objectives
  • Track and analyze sales and partnership metrics leveraging CRM platform and other company reporting tools
  • Generate reports to assess the effectiveness of current partnerships, including post-activation, monthly, and end-of-year reports

Account Planning

  • Help create and manage Account Plans, tracking partnership assets, and updating progress reports for regular check-ins
  • Collaborate with partners to gather necessary assets, such as creative materials, for various marketing activities while ensuring brand integrity
  • Assist with the coordination of events related to brand partnerships
  • Work cross functionally to closely with the Digital/Social team to monitor and track online deliverables for partners, including digital media, social, and content
  • Support various other projects and tasks related to brand partnerships as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing, account management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and manage relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with an ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 0-20% travel).
  • A self-starter with a resourceful mindset, capable of developing solutions in high-stress situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to learn other relevant computer programs.
  • Experience with partnership marketing strategy development and implementation is a plus.
  • Experience working within a marketing agency, sports team, or client-based setting is a plus.
  • Experience working with Airtable is a plus.
