Averity is Hiring a Digital Product Manager Near Miami, FL
Our company is a household name in the restaurant industry, based out of Miami, which produces over $40B of revenue annually and is always investing in the best technology to serve our loyal customers.
One of the many restaurant chains that we own is undergoing an exciting digital transformation. Five years ago, digital sales were less than 5% of our business. Today, we are nearly at 50% and on our way to 100% digital. We are hiring a Senior Product Manager, Digital Experience, to lead our efforts to transform our in-restaurant experience for the US and Canada.
This role will be pivotal in driving the development and implementation of technology solutions at our restaurants, including kiosks, digital shelving, order-ready screens, and digital drive-thrus.
You will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of our products, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. As a Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, alongside our technology providers and franchisees, to ensure the success of our initiatives across various digital channels. This is an on-site role that will require you to be in our Miami HQ 4 days per week.
Responsibilities for the Product Manager (Digital Experience) :
- Develop a comprehensive customer experience strategy that improves guest and team member experience for at-restaurant experiences
- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business objectives and valuable customer insights.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including Operations, Restaurant Technology, Engineering, and Marketing
- Lead build, buy, and partner technology decisions. Manage technology providers and deliver excellent solutions on a predictable timeline
- Manage franchisee committees, build relationships with franchisees, and gather valuable input on digital projects
Required Skills for the Product Manager Digital Experience:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, with at least 6-8 years of product management experience, ideally in the restaurant or technology industry.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or sciences is a plus
- Ability to gather insights from data; SQL, Tableau, or Looker experience is a plus
- Vendor management, including selection and contract negotiations
- Experience working with digital platforms, such as kiosks or point of sales
- Ability to operate effectively in both tactical and strategic capacities
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and franchise systems is a plus
