Summary and Overall Objectives:
- Oversee all daily sales operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, directing, warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, operations, sales and merchandising including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, and customer service
- Evaluate sales versus goal and meet with sales managers regularly to address the status.
- Schedule and oversee team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
- Meet regularly with team leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention
- Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time
- Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved
- Managing and decrease expenses by creating efficiencies, and evaluating the vendors we use
- Manage the locations P&L
- Monitor measurements against budget, and/or targets of key performance metrics. Review cost of operations and enhance profitability of L&F Distributors, including sales calls.
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
- Provides a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel
- Leadership qualities and demonstrated organizational skills
- Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
- Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
