Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for mechanical and controls service while assisting and growing territory sales in the seed treating market in their assigned KSi region. This includes supporting sales with startups, trainings, and customer service.

About the Role:

• Lead and drive sales of KSi seed treating equipment and automation to the seed treating market in assigned US market
• Manage mechanical service of KSi seed treating equipment as needed
• Start-up and commission KSi automation and seed treating equipment as needed
• Lead service and training on automation and seed treating equipment
• Support international KSi system start-ups, commissioning, and service as needed
• Lead by example in the area of customer satisfaction and job completion
• Support any treating equipment sold by KSi by phone or in person if required
• Field phone calls concerning technical questions concerning KSi supported treating equipment
• Ensure customers’ questions and concerns are solved in a timely and complete manner
• Work closely with treater and automation team to stay up to date on new product offerings
• Resolve mechanical issues while in the field, including tracking on all belts, etc.
• Handle direct sales quoting and submit orders for processing as soon as it is a signed order
• Build new and maintain current relationships with the following: direct sale customers, seed company reps, seed companies, and any other company that KSi does business with
• Responsible for updating tracker and all required paperwork upon job completion
• Extensive travel is required, possibly including weekends (~100 nights)
• Participate in ongoing company training and sales meetings

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in agriculture and/or sales preferred
• Proven ability to be proficient with basic computer skills (word, spreadsheets, email, etc.)

• Well developed multi-tasking and organizational skills are key to success in the position
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Electrical and mechanical skills required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
