Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to the office by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. Small office setting with multiple employees. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable and account analysis
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Assist with general ledger accounting tasks
- Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage Business Works or similar accounting software is required
- Strong understanding of basic financial concepts, such as debits and credits and account reconciliations
- Ability to analyze accounts and identify discrepancies
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
