We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our small but mighty design team and shape our core teaching experience. As an integral member of the teachers pod, you’ll drive and iterate on features throughout the entire product lifecycle, from strategic discovery to high-fidelity prototypes. You'll serve as a strong advocate for users and set a high bar for crafting intuitive, accessible, and beautiful experiences. You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure clear communication and alignment across the team. This is a great role for someone who is passionate about empowering both teachers and learners and thrives in a scrappy environment where they can have a lot of ownership.
\nResponsibilities & Duties
In the spirit of transparency, we want to share the process so that you can prepare to put your best foot forward. Should you move through the interview process you can expect the following steps:
1. Portfolio Review Internally
2. Recruiter Screen (30 minutes)
3. Hiring manager interview (45 min)
4. Portfolio presentation (1 hr); Engineering interview (30 min); Product management interview (30 min)
5. Take-home project (3-5 hrs)
6. Values interview (30 min)
In your portfolio we are looking for 2-3 real-world examples of customer-facing products/features and an outline of your process, challenges, and learnings.
