Kentucky Eagle is Hiring an Operations Manager Near Louisville, KY
- Ensure delivery team follow company and US DOT regulations in the safe operation of all delivery vehicles.
- Ensure delivery team understand the requirements of the job and provide all necessary training.
- Manage team to ensure delivery routes schedules are followed.
- Ensure delivery team follow all company and federal safety standards.
- Responsible for supervising all aspects of work performance of Delivery employees including input and recommendations on performance evaluations, disciplinary action, hiring new employees and terminations.
- Partner with Sales team to ensure Kentucky Eagle achieves market excellence.
- Manage, receive, and inventory all items including point of sale material, and product.
- Manage customer service needs that involves delivery issues.
- Assist with routing and improving delivery efficiencies.
- Ensure all end of day processes are completed by delivery personnel.
- Ensure the security and safety of the facility and all equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2 years related distribution delivery experience.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- CDL Class A preferred with a driving record acceptable to Kentucky Eagle insurance carrier.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office skills.
- Must be able to operate handheld computer and printer.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, bend and twist.
- Must be able to do repetitive lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to use a two-wheel cart, pallet jack and other MHE in the course of job duties.
- Working outside and inside accounts and warehouse including coolers; hot and cold environments.
- Driving in all types of weather.
