Remote position covering a territory and home base is out of Riverside, CA.
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking to hire a seasoned salesperson to grow and manage a sales territory. S/he will help to identify opportunities to increase sales in an assigned customer base and prospect for new customers. The Outside Sales Representative will report to a Branch Manager, and work closely with personnel in the branch and across the organization.
Role Objectives:
· Drive sales in assigned customers by deepening relationships and delivering value in scheduled and unscheduled meetings at customer locations.
· Identify, qualify, and close prospects that fit the company's ideal customer profile.
· Support assigned customers, individually and with other branch roles, by providing outstanding service, quoting and completing orders, when appropriate
The successful candidate must have the following experience and capabilities:
· A desire to drive aggressive growth and hit sales targets, with a demonstrated track record of doing so
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
· 2-4 years proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative, or in other sales/customer service role.
· Ability to travel as needed, typically required 50% to 75% week (mostly in REGION, within few hours’ drive)
