Kassouf is Hiring a Senior Tax Accountant Near Birmingham, AL
- Prepare complex tax returns for businesses including, but not limited to, S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, non-profits.
- Review the preparation of income tax returns prepared by Staff I or Staff II.
- Assist with the coordination of engagements including client contact, staff requirements, documentation, and timing.
- Work with more experienced team members to research and solve difficult tax issues to develop the best solutions for clients.
- Supervise activities of less experienced staff while working on special projects.
- Begin building strong client relationships to be viewed as a trusted advisor.
- Obtain skills to promote the firm, attract new clients, and expand business with existing clients.
- BA or BS degree in Accounting or a related field, from an accredited college/university.
- Active CPA License.
- 2-5 years of public accounting experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good judgment and professional skepticism.
- Excellent analysis and observation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers, staff, and clients.
- Knowledge of accounting software packages and MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
