We need an experienced Project Manager to join our ever-growing team.

OBJECTIVE/MISSION: Own and manage all aspects of assigned re-roofing projects efficiently and effectively with an emphasis on customer service while supporting/leading/contributing to company-wide initiatives assigned by supervisors.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a point of contact with customers employing exemplary professionalism (e.g., complete per-construction meetings, provide updates to customers, resolve any issues or complaints).
• Manage all the contract-related problems with customers (e.g., term clarification, change orders, warranty modifications).
• Provide accurate weekly project updates to the Supervisor and demonstrate complete command of all project activities.
• Manage your Project Management workflow daily. Create tasks in PM software, complete tasks assigned to you on time, and record task completion on appropriate platforms as necessary to ensure accurate reporting.Document job progress in company software packages.
• Assist Permitting Coordinator to ensure that assigned projects have permits, schedule inspections, resolve inspection issues, and coordinate engineering requirements, as necessary.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Specialist and Construction Managers to ensure accurate project supplies and equipment deliveries.
• Own timely customer billings for all assigned projects and resolve collection issues – elevate to Supervisor as necessary.
• Assign specific billing duties to the Project Coordinator.
• Work with the Warranty Specialist to ensure warranties are sent.
• Coordinate technical approaches with Construction Managers and Senior Project Manager on assigned projects.
• Manage crew purchase orders/payments per any subcontractor master agreements in place.
• Support company-wide initiatives, identify process/operational improvement areas, and train junior staff/new employees.
• Any other tasks as assigned.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of five years experience in the construction industry.
• A minimum of two years experience in a management/supervisory role.
• A minimum of two years of experience in residential roofing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Organized, detailed, and thorough in planning and execution.
• Team/role/substitute player that will do whatever needs to be done to get the job completed.
• Possesses a high set of moral and ethical standards in business dealings: good driving history (MVR) and driving skills.
• Able to demonstrate proficiency using software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and construction-related packages.
• Strong business acumen and construction math skills. Self-motivated and a self-starter.
• Ability to handle stressful situations competently, choose a successful path forward when confronted with numerous options, and elevate issues as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
