Kaida Coffee & Bakery is looking to hire a Barista!

We are located at Ludlow 122 Street, NY 10002. Our focus is on reliability.

Qualifications:

• Barista Experience (at least six months)
• FOOD HANDLERS LICENSE (or willing to take the course and exam)
• Must be a US person or have a Green Card

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they enter and take their orders. Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other beverages as directed.
• Receive and process payments at the counter.
• Keep the counter clean and free of debris.
• Maintain stock of fresh and pre-made drinks.
• Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and work safety policies and procedures.
• Assist co-workers in the store when needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude and good work ethic.
• Be able to work in a standing position for 8 hours a day.
• Have a nice attitude and a good predisposition toward customers.

Details:

• $16/hr base wage, plus tips
• Base pay increase after a positive performance review in 1 month.
• 12 hours/week.
• Mondays and Tuesdays, 8 am-4 pm. More hours and days are to be added.

After a trial period of 16 hours per week, the expected working hours will increase to 40 hours per week.
