Job Description:

As the Operations Manager for junk removal services, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Your primary duties will include:

• Team Management:
• Supervising and leading a team of junk removal specialists, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Scheduling and dispatching crews for daily operations, ensuring timely arrival at customer locations.
• Motivating team members to maintain high productivity levels and adhere to company standards.
• Operational Efficiency:
• Developing and implementing efficient junk removal processes and procedures to optimize workflow.
• Monitoring operational metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices to minimize risks and accidents.
• Customer Service:
• Providing excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
• Resolving service issues and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
• Implementing strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and foster long-term relationships.
• Inventory Management:
• Managing inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies required for junk removal operations.
• Procuring necessary materials and resources to support operational needs while optimizing costs.
• Conducting regular inventory audits to track usage and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Quality Assurance:
• Implementing quality control measures to ensure that junk removal services meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Conducting inspections and quality checks to verify the thoroughness and cleanliness of completed jobs.
• Addressing any issues or deficiencies in service quality and implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generating regular reports on operational performance, including productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Analyzing data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Providing insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the waste management or logistics industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in junk removal operations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
