IT Support Specialist Operations Department

Position Description:

The on-site IT Support Specialist is newer role within JS Sullivan, providing daily assistance within our headquarters office, and to nearby satellite office locations within San Francisco. You'll report to the Operations Director and collaborate with the senior IT consultant and Senior Operations Coordinator to resolve hardware & software performance issues. Youll also oversee the management of our existing ticket system, keeping detailed records of issues and activities. This part-time, six-month contract position requires 20 - 24 hours per week in total. Please note, this role is 100% onsite, not a remote or hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Promptly address IT issues to ensure uninterrupted daily operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment for seamless function.
• Manage new user onboarding/offboarding and maintain equipment and software inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service to teams and effectively manage multiple projects.
• Provide company-wide IT & helpdesk support, prioritizing senior team members.

Qualifications & Personal Characteristics:

• Three years of professional office experience in IT, customer service, and administration.
• Proficient in problem-solving and management of multiple, concurrent tasks.
• Strong, precise verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in IT systems and hardware troubleshooting.
• Skilled in MS Office Suite and Construction software administration.
• Effective in organizational and inventory management.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and making clear decisions.
• Detail-oriented with prompt project execution.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
