Embark on an exciting career journey as our Business & Operations Analyst where you will report to the Business & Client Experience Manager of the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection. You will be responsible for overseeing our support functions including financial management, operations, analytics/metrics, relationship with vendors, controls and risk management.
As an Business & Operations Analyst you will work on a global scale, providing reports for internal partners. Locally, responsibilities include assisting the Global Head of the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection, & Director of History & Archives Program with all financial management, operations, analytics/metrics, relationship with vendors, controls and risk management. The primary focus of this role will be for 270 Park Avenue Capital project & midtown.
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee departmental budgets (operating and acquisitions) including forecast and planning, purchase order submissions, invoice processing, and monthly financial accruals, reporting and reconciliations
• Accountable for tracking the team’s business goals and financial scorecard reporting while also leading the team to ensure prioritization of critical deliverables, strategic priorities and metrics including tracking action plan responses around the Corporate Art Collection and Program
• Act as central point of contact for functional partners (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement, Controls, TPO, Sourcing, Legal and Compliance, GRE; LOBs with which we partner.)
• Manage controls related projects including, but not limited to updating departmental policy and procedure documents; schedules and budgets, metrics and reports, GRE projects; secure copyrights from artists for image use requests
• Lead management priorities and help to manage cross-functional relationships for senior management and collaboration within the Corporate Art Team
• Coordinate and plan of team QBRs & Quarterly reports to Stakeholders
• Responsible for the team’s weekly status updates
• Support employee engagement events and meetings; collaborative events with other Corporate functions and LOBs, ability to travel when relevant
• Prioritize Exceptional Client Service, Collaboration, Operational Excellence, Risk Controls
• Specialty ad-hoc project management, proactive and strategic planning in partnership with the Director and the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• 1 year experience in Operations & project management
• Proven experience as business/marketing/project manager or relevant role
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
• Experience managing projects, people, and budgets
• Strong demonstrated experience managing relationships, internal and external
• Familiarity with budgeting, Excel, reporting and the firm’s financial systems (i.e. Ariba and Concur), as well as Sharepoint, Schedule Now and other firm digital platforms
• Ability to multi-task and handle several competing initiatives simultaneously
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment on a small team
