JPA Health is looking for a Project Coordinator to support key health communications projects across its federal government portfolio. This position will work closely with the Federal Project Manager(s) to coordinate work schedules, monitor resources, organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, and other administrative tasks as required. Our Project Coordinators help to assemble and lead interdisciplinary teams, ensure adherence to workflow, schedules, and deliver with excellence for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Project Manager on $2MM-$5MM, medium-to-high complexity, federal health communications projects from start-to-finish, across a range of multi-channel project engagements.
  • Assists Project Manager and PMO with development of project management documents including Standard Operating Procedures documents.
  • Supports Project Manager with project management/workflow system data entry and reporting.
  • Facilitates daily/weekly status meetings and ensures completion of status documentation for internal and external participants, as needed, ensuring all parties are kept abreast of action items, feedback, and next steps.
  • Responsible for organization of files and documents in SharePoint to ensure quality control across a range of tasks.
  • Prepares and reviewing presentation materials.
  • Provides administrative support as needed to Program Director and Project Manager.
  • Helps analyze risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting communications projects.
  • At least 3 years of agency experience, working across account and creative teams; with experience working on federal government contracts, preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability to get things done on budget and on time.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and projects at the same time with attention to detail.
  • Strong internal relationships
  • Accountability and calm, confident presence, and ability to work independently.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Deep experience with MS Power Point, Excel, Teams
  • Familiarity with web-based project management tools (e.g., Trello, Monday, Wrike, etc.).
