Milhouse Engineering & Construction is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Washington, DC

WMATA is conducting digital modernization of their transit hubs throughout the system and on their rolling stock. As such the Project Coordinator will assist in the WMATA planning of upcoming Digital Projects through Coordination with the project owners and stakeholders and ensure scope of work documents are prepared in line with WMATA standards and guidelines.

What you will do:

  • Work with Milhouse Engineers, Client Engineers, and project managers to ensure all required documents are prepared and compliant.
  • Data and document entry in clients contract management software (Procore).
  • Ensure detailed tracking of all communication with stakeholders.
  • Communicate with all project entities any concerns with provided project files.
  • Assist management & client on special projects as directed and other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to coordinate with internal and external contacts effectively.
  • Must have great organizational skills and be able to keep track of many active projects at a time.
  • Exhibit the ability to pick up on concepts quickly and be adaptable.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have great attention to detail.
Your background:
  • Associates Degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiar with coordinating multiple projects.
  • Capital planning experience.
  • Good communicator familiar with coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • CCM or PMP certification ideal.
