Rotating Schedule
7:00am - 3:30pm & 11:00am - 7:30pm
- Reads and maintains diet sheets, Meditech and CBORD reports.
Visits new admissions and explains meal service process, conducts weekly meal rounds. - Distributes menus and assists with patient meal selections.
- Delivers and retrieves patient meal trays according to established time schedule.
- Maintains a high degree of accuracy when checking and delivering trays to ensure overall quality control and patient safety.
- When passing trays, spot checks trays to ensure meals are neat and accurate to diet and patient selection.
- Labels, stocks and rotates tube feedings on assigned floors.
- Checks floor stock for proper storage and labeling.
- Assemble food, such as salads, sandwiches, hot meals, boxed or pre-packaged meals, and portion desserts.
- Assembles cold packs and slices meat as necessary.
- Assembles and delivers snack cart to Burton Pavilion patients as scheduled or assigned.
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Displays excellent customer service skills.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
