The Owl Bar is looking for a front of house team member who will take the lead on ensuring patrons at the restaurant have a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

*Assist with hiring, training and development of servers *Assist with the management of front of house schedules and ensure coverage of front of house employees *Adjust scheduling as needed based on reservations *Answer incoming calls regarding reservations and carry out orders *Greet guests as they arrive to the restaurant and escort to their tables *Manage server assignments and table sections *Control the flow of dinner service and adjust reservation availability as tables are assigned *Oversee the overall guest experience in the restaurant by visiting tables, speaking with guests and providing service recovery when needed

Qualifications

*Ability to listen and communicate effectively *Excellent customer service skills *Strong organizational skills *Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a team

Requirements

*Must be available nights and weekends. Regular work week would be Wednesday - Saturday. *Prior restaurant and/or leadership experience is preferred
