Job Description: Host/Host

Are you a friendly and outgoing individual with a passion for providing excellent guest service? We are currently seeking a Host/Host to join our team at our hotel restaurant. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties:

- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their designated tables
- Provide menus to guests and assist with any questions or special requests
- Manage the waitlist and ensure efficient seating of guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls and taking reservations

Skills:

- Excellent guest relations skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
