We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager - Infrastructure for our rapidly growing team in the construction industry. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who is passionate about infrastructure projects and has a strong background in project management, planning, pre-construction, and road construction. You will be responsible for overseeing and directing multiple projects at various stages, from initial conception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager - Infrastructure, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycles, from pre-construction to completion, ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
2. Developing and managing comprehensive project plans, including resources, time frames, budgets, and communication.
3. Coordinating with various teams and stakeholders, including architects, engineers, construction crews, suppliers, government officials, and clients, to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
4. Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects.
5. Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards, and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
6. Reviewing and approving project designs and plans, and managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
7. Providing regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and changes.
8. Ensuring all necessary permits and legal paperwork are obtained and maintained throughout the project.
9. Continually improving project management tools and processes to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, ideally within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in infrastructure projects, including road construction.
3. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
4. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
5. Proficiency in project management software tools.
6. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. A strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of construction safety regulations.
10. Ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
