Are you a detail-oriented, organized individual with a knack for numbers? Are you experienced in managing accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliation, and expense reports? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team in the Legal industry. This is a permanent position, offering you the chance to contribute your unique skills and expertise to a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Accounting Clerk, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) with precision and timeliness.
2. Conducting regular bank and credit card reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
3. Preparing, reviewing, and submitting expense reports, ensuring all expenditures are within company guidelines and properly documented.
4. Utilizing Quickbooks to record transactions, generate reports, and perform other accounting tasks.
5. Collaborating with other team members to streamline and improve accounting processes.
6. Assisting with financial audits by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
7. Complying with all legal and company regulations for financial and record-keeping procedures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Clerk position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A High School Diploma is required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the Construction industry.
3. Proficiency in Quickbooks and other accounting software.
4. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
5. Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
6. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
8. Proficiency in English and in MS Office, particularly Excel.
9. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
