The PROPs Team Coordinator assists the Clinical Team Manager in providing leadership and support to the PROPs team. The Coordinator will provide consultation, mentoring and support to all service providers within the PROPs Team and is supervised directly by the PROPs Clinical Team Manager. The Coordinator also leads the hiring, interview and onboarding process for new PROPs staff and students. This position will evaluate and improve programmatic needs including program expansion, training new staff, and quality assurance efforts. The PROPs Team Coordinator reports directly to the PROPs Clinical Team Manager. Annual billable hours expectation: 960 hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervision

1. Provide individual and group consultation, review, and oversight of team members through a collaborative, recovery-oriented approach.
2. Review the performance and goals for all staff in their supervision group on an annual and as needed basis.
3. Coordinate and oversee a system of appropriate documentation procedures that ensure the program's compliance with JMHC, County, and State guidelines. Review documentation for accuracy and timely completion.
4. Assist in facilitating the coordination of the program's clinical services with those of other programs and outside agencies, and provide resolution around system issues, clinical issues, cultural sensitivity, consumer grievances, with the assistance and support of the PROPs Manager.

Administrative Leadership

1. Participate in and provide leadership for staff meetings, training programs and other designated functions. Assist in development of new programming.
2. Lead in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating new staff, students, and volunteers.
3. Monitor and ensure staff meet productivity expectations.
4. Approve and monitor scheduling, time off requests, training requests, and other aspects of each member of their team.
5. Participate in meetings and projects as assigned by the PROPs Manager.
6. Provides backup in the PROPs Manager’s absence.

Provision of Individual Services 

1. Coordinate care for 6-8 youth and young adults experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
2. Complete intake process of interviewing consumer and family members to collaboratively build the comprehensive assessment, recovery plan, and a provider team to support the individual.
3. Coordinate and facilitate Recovery Team Meetings as needed and at a minimum of every six months to update recovery plans and continually assess treatment goals.
4. Utilize effective strategies to engage program participants, family members, and natural supports to enhance motivation and encourage meaningful, collaborative, and strengths-based goal planning and progress.
5. Maintain regular contact with program participants to a degree sufficient to support effective engagement to assist with making and evaluating progress
6. Provide or obtain support and crisis/emergency services for consumers as appropriate.
7. Monitor the provision and quality of services provided and act as the liaison when new services/resources need to be sought or developed.
