Position Summary

HSM GCC Performance Minerals goes to market direct and through Channel Partners. Key Account & Channel Partner Business Development Manager will oversee the management of key account and channel partner relationships and overall growth and satisfaction. The position responsibilities should include execution of commercial strategies, showing an in-depth understanding of the market, establishing, and maintaining strong customer relationships and working closely with all functions to drive profitable revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This position will report directly to the Sales Director.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Key Account & Channel Partner Business Development Manager will lead our relationships with our large multisite accounts and channel partners. Will work on both a strategic and tactical level in collaboration with our Sales, Customer Care and Operations teams.
  • Manages our key top-level relationships with top accounts and major channel partners.
  • Achieves current business goals with planning and development for future growth and increase profitability.
  • Advocates for the customer, for product quality and development and provides excellence in customer solutions.
  • Establishes and maintains major account relationships and generates new business.
  • Negotiates contracts, pricing proposals and growth development.
  • Provides input on market trends and customer feature/product requests for new product development.
  • Channel partner strategy and execution, managing our top-level engagement with our key distributor partners and developing & implementing the tools, process, and programs to enhance our brand equity in a distributor channel across all our industrial markets.
  • Creates, implements, and maintains overall strategic direction for our channel partners across all markets.
  • Leads the development of partner programs to enhance Huber’s competitive channel position.
  • Develops strategic growth plans for select channel partners.
  • Collaborates with Sales team to implement local and regional channel partner strategy in support of sales goals.
  • Manages the key channel partner processes, analytics and reporting, and activities in support of the Sales & Customer Care teams.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required. Master’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 10 years of professional experience in related field, with 5 years in channel partner experience
  • Experience with manufactured products for Building and Construction, CASE, Polymers market segments preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and in writing
  • Proven ability to deal with difficult problems or issues; an ability to provide a balance perspective that optimizes the trade-offs between the business financials, the business opportunities, the business strategy, and the external environment.
  • Collaborator with effective people skills and an open and collaborative style.
  • Cross-functional collaborator who can balance external and internal goals.
  • Highly initiative and results driven; an entrepreneurial initiative-taker who operators with speed, simplicity, and passion to succeed.
  • Travel is expected to be 50%
