Join Our Team as a Manager of Career Services !

Do you have a passion for helping individuals ignite their careers? As the Manager of Career Services at the Ignite Career Center within Jewish Community Services (JCS), you'll lead a team of dedicated professionals to provide exceptional career services. From overseeing operational and fiscal activities to managing grants and providing direct career services, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: Recruit and onboard talented account reps and career coaches. Monitor and approve case assignments, ensuring timely and effective services. Conduct individual and group meetings to support staff and clients.

Programming Innovation: Oversee the development of workshops, blogs, and content for the Ignite website and social media. Monitor participant feedback to continually enhance program offerings.

Fiscal & Grant Management: Track expenditures and timelines for Career Services and Economic Advancement grants. Ensure grant deliverables are met and reporting is completed accurately and on time.

Collaborative Leadership: Participate in agency and cluster management activities. Collaborate with departments across the agency to enhance client services and programming.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Counseling, or related field preferred; Master’s degree preferred.

Five or more years of work-related experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of career coaching strategies, resume writing, management theory, and grant management.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
