Business Development Manager, Mitel
8:30-5:30pm Eastern Time
Hybrid, Avon, Ohio
Job Summary:
Communicate and deliver Mitel and Jenne’s value proposition to Jenne’s existing and new Authorized reseller base, inside & outside sales teams. The roles and responsibilities of the Authorized Business Development Manager may include but are not limited to:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Execute the sales strategy for Mitel
  • Recruit, onboard, train, mentor and motivate Authorized partners on Mitel.
  • Identify, develop and establish relationships with new partners.
  • Expand Mitel footprint within Jenne’s Mitel Authorized Account base.
  • Provide essential support for Jenne’s Authorized account base.
  • Communicate and develop partner sales strategies for new offers and product introductions.
  • Convert existing partners from marketing and selling competitive brands to Mitel.
  • Understand Mitel’s key initiatives, products, vertical markets served and effectively position the value to partners.
  • Drive business development activity and be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual business targets.
  • Responsible for reporting on the progress of activities and the results at the frequency established by management.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Point of contact for Jenne Partners on Mitel Programs
  • Utilize Mitel programs and incentives to leverage sales.
  • Leverage Mitel Programs, promotions and other offers to drive sales within an Authorized account base.
Provide product expertise for Jenne sales and partners.
  • Understand product road maps & communicate key elements.
  • Understand go-to-market strategies, category trending and competitive information and leverage knowledge to increase recruitment and revenue
  • Product expert on complete Mitel portfolio
  • Utilize and provide tools, guides, and collateral for partners and Jenne sales teams
Develop relationships with partners and Mitel sales teams.
  • Develop strong relationships with partner contacts of all levels fostering mutual success.
  • Develop a “Focus” partner list through profiling and field engagement efforts.
  • Drive quarterly planning and business reviews with key growth partners and Mitel sales team.
  • Assist Jenne sales team to qualify, drive and track closure of pipeline opportunities with partners
  • Establish relationships and regular communication with Mitel sales teams.
  • Develop engagement plan between Mitel and Jenne sales teams.
  • Engage with key partners using video conferencing, audio conferencing and trade shows.
Return on Investment (ROI) Measurements
  • Increase Mitel revenue.
  • Increase number of resellers purchasing Mitel from Jenne

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Minimum of 2 plus years of sales experience
  • Product background knowledge of, telephony, video conferencing and unified communications a plus
  • Current Understanding of Mitel systems and tools (Configuration Price Quote, Special Bids) a plus
  • Must be a highly motivated and possess a personal commitment to the success of the sales organization and goals
  • Action Oriented - Develops and implements dynamic strategies that are driven by energy and drive
  • Negotiating - Negotiates skillfully in difficult situations; settles differences with minimum noise
  • Time Management - Places a high value on his or her time and uses independent judgement to plan tasks accordingly
  • Organizing - Handles multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently, delegating tasks to efficiently and continually move projects forward
  • MS Office (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and PC fluency required
  • Interpersonal Skills – Builds constructive and effective relationships

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/sales, or 4 years of relevant sales experience
TRAVEL
  • Travel up to 20%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (In compliance with ADA)
  • Ability to sit a computer terminal for long periods of time
  • Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds
  • Travel up to 20%
